The PDX Broadsides are a trio of nerd enthusiasts who sing acoustic songs about science, piracy, superheroes, robots, and other geeky topics. The group began as an all-female acapella arm of the PDXYAR pirate performing troupe, singing traditional shanties, pirate-themed parodies, and bawdy covers. When vocalists Jessica Hebert and Hollyanna McCollom learned that new pirate Christian Lipski was a guitarist, they recruited him to fill out the band's sound. Read more on Last.fm
